Oscar the Deathcat.
I know there are lots of people who are creeped out by cats, but this will creep out (and impress) even cat lovers: a cat in a nursing home who makes the rounds with the doctors, and every patient he curls up to snuggle with dies within a few hours. He’s done this for years, and is so reliable that the nursing staff calls up the families of the patients as soon as they see Oscar jump on a patient’s bed, to inform the family to begin making funeral arrangements. The power is specific to Oscar: five other cats at the facility have revealed no horror-movie powers.
