http://busingers.ca/.git/HEAD This was the first debate I watched on television – I took a trip to the Boiceville Inn, which has a t.v. room for movies and television events. I don’t know if McCain looked like this before, but his appearance was terrible: he looked uncomfortable, angry, and frustrated. He looked like he had come with a gameplan for the wrong game, but he stayed with it, useless as it was. He leveled charges that he had no time to explain the significance of – if they really have any significance – while Obama could clearly and eloquently defend himself against them. On issues, Obama offered much more detail and substance and showed much greater command and confidence. I was in a biased crowd, but even with Obama’s cool demeanor he gave sixty-second summaries of important national concerns which raised applause in the crowd. McCain has said before that we need a “steady hand.” If this is the criterion McCain thinks we should use, Obama clearly should be our next president.
order generic Lyrica God, what ice Obama has in his veins! Through three debates he has stuck with his plan: block punches but land very few, stay calm, don’t go on the attack. When given the opportunity to contrast Biden and Palin, he didn’t even mention Palin – he’ll let us form our own opinion, without stooping to attack her. It takes such marvellous self-discipline. A presidential performance – Obama has a kind of regal energy coming from self-knowledge that it is hard not to admire.
