Resolving some contradictions.

Araguaína

Zijinglu             Many of the oppositions that appear to occur in the universe are resolved by the simple inclusion of time in the reckoning.  Day and night, for instance: they appear to be opposites, and yet the simple lapse of time leads from one to the other and back again.

In speech, these opposites are called contradictions.  And yet many things that appear contradictory may, again, be resolved by time.  This is applicable to all things, but to religion especially.  As I have said before, the old metaphor of life being a “journey” or religion being a “path” or “way” indicates more than anything else that time is a necessary part of the equation, that some things do not emerge as true until others have been felt and then surpassed.
