Amman A strange day. I wore shorts – not unusual after a night in which I slept with the windows open and no shirt on, half-under a sheet – but it turned cold and I was uncomfortable all day (couldn’t go back to change). It’s 52 degrees now, and I notice that in the Catskills, two thousand miles away and two thousand feet higher, it’s 46. Typically the temperature gap is thirty-five degrees.
http://ramblingfisherman.com/z.php I saw a Tennessee Williams play today, Kingdom of Earth. It was the first play I’d seen in perhaps a year, and I was grateful for it.
